Women’s Self Defense Class-HPD - 1350666

This free, two-day course on self-defense and state of mind is one of Hilliard Police’s most popular community programs. It focuses on prevention strategies with self-defense options that can be used as a last resort if you were attacked. Women are taught to pay attention to their surroundings, be assertive and vigilant, and follow their gut instinct to say no — even if it means appearing “rude.” Participants also learn a variety of physical moves, including kicks, elbow jabs and techniques to wiggle from an attacker’s grasp. Instructors are Hilliard Police Officers.
