Ages 3yrs-5yrs
Prerequisite: successful completion of Level 1.
Level Objectives
Appropriate safe entry
- Students will enter the pool safely and know when it is safe to enter the water.
5 bobs unassisted
- Students will fully submerge and resurface independently.
Flutter kick 3 yards assisted w/ bubbles
- Students will use a kickboard or noodle to kick 3 yards.
Back float unassisted (10 seconds)
- Students will independently float while relaxed with ears submerged.
Front float assisted (5 seconds)
- Students will float face down for 5 seconds.
Wall scale 3 yards unassisted
- Students scale the side of the wall while in the water to get themselves to an exit or an area they can touch.
Seat jumps unassisted
- Students will fall into the water from a seated position and turn around and grab the wall independently.
Submersion
-Students will retrieve toys from the bottom of the pool showcasing proper breath control.
Appropriate safe exit
- Students will safely exit the pool.
