Discover Technology That Changes Lives
Join us for an exciting 3-session coding camp where technology meets care! Whether you're a complete beginner or have some coding experience, this hands-on program welcomes students of all genders, abilities, and skills to explore the fascinating world of technology, programming, and problem-solving. We provide all equipment and materials. You just need your curiosity and enthusiasm.
What Makes This Camp Special?
Our camp goes beyond basic coding lessons. We believe the most powerful technology is built when we understand real-world problems and create solutions that make life better for everyone. Over the 3 sessions, you'll work with sensors, artificial intelligence, and Python programming to build projects that could help people in your community.

Sensors & the Physical World
Ever wondered how automatic doors know you're there? Or how your phone adjusts screen brightness? You'll get hands-on experience with three types of sensors that connect the digital and physical worlds:
* Sound Sensors: Detect noise levels and respond to audio. Build a project that responds to clapping or measures noise pollution in different environments.
* Motion Sensors: Code a sensor that detects movement. Design an accessibility tool that alerts someone when motion is detected at their door.
*Light Sensors: Measure brightness and adapt to changing conditions. Program a device that helps visually impaired individuals navigate spaces by detecting changing light levels.
Through these sensor projects, you'll learn how technology can increase accessibility for people with different abilities, creating solutions that make everyday tasks easier and safer.
