The Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics is home to one of the largest documented Holy Relic Collections in the United States and the epicenter of the historical Land of the Cross-Tipped Churches. The Shrine, located west of New Bremen, houses 1,200 relics of the Saints and the True Cross. Additionally, it provides faith nourishment and spiritual renewal through opportunities for prayer, pilgrimage and inspiration from the lives of the saints. People from around the world visit the shrine to explore and enjoy this environment rich in holiness and history. Tour the Relic Chapel, Adoration Chapel, and Heritage Museum. Lunch afterwards at The Spot Restaurant in Sydney. Activity level is moderate. Must be a current Hilliard Senior Center member in order to participate in day trips.
