Junior Lifeguard - Session 2
Participants will learn what it takes to be a City of Hilliard lifeguard with lessons and activities in water safety, swimming skills, the importance of being a lifeguard, and a behind-the-scenes look at the operations of the Hilliard Family Aquatic Center. Some equipment will be provided, including a Junior Lifeguard uniform for those who complete the program. Participants are invited to volunteer at aquatics special events after their first session (June 19, July 11, 25, Aug. 16, and/or Sept. 6).
Please note that this program does not certify to become a lifeguard. The same content is covered in both classes 1 & 2. Participants are eligible to register for only one class. Participants must be comfortable swimming in water above their head to participate in this program.
